FULL RESULTS

Central Termin8er Rules and Procedures

1. Line up in the queue with your bike.
2. The starter will select the next heat of racers from the front of the queue.
3. Set your bike down in the start area.
4. Upon the starter's signal, get on your bike and race one lap.
5. Dismount and drop your bike in the dismount area.
6. Run across the finish line.
7. Check in with scorer and assure the scorer has recorded your bib# and placing from the heat.
8. Pick up your bike and return to the queue or go eat and rest and play then return to the queue.

You may do as many heats as you are able in the allotted qualifying time. A specific time cut-off for the queue will be announced during qualifying.

You are welcome to attempt to strategize the queue, placing yourself in line either near or far from a rival. However there is not necessarily a discernible pattern to the number of riders in each heat.

Qualifying points are awarded in each heat, regardless of the number of riders in the heat, as such:
1st place: 10
2nd place: 8
3rd place: 6
4th place: 4
5th place: 2

Qualifying for the finals:
Based on point totals, the top 6 riders and ties will qualify for the finals.
A minimum of 3 and ties of each gender will qualify for the finals.
The rider and ties with the most heat attempts regardless of placings will qualify for the pre-finals heat. In the event of multiple riders qualifying via attempts who are not otherwise qualified, these riders will have a single heat at the beginning of the finals with just one winner advancing to the main finals. In the event of this being just one rider, that rider will be entered into the main finals.

The finals will run as a miss-and-out with every qualified rider starting together in a single heat. The last place rider will be eliminated from each one lap race until only 2 riders are left to battle out for victory. The races are one lap each, and will restart after each lap. There will be no waiting or down time. The next lap race will start as soon as everyone has finished the previous lap.
